Completed the J-StarX Young Entrepreneurs course, an intensive program hosted by the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. This program provided in-depth training in Lean Startup and Design Thinking methodologies, enabling me to conduct end-to-end customer validation and test strategies for achieving product-market fit in the U.S. market. Additionally, I strengthened my professional network in the San Francisco Bay Area to facilitate a smoother market entry and business expansion in the United States.

Participated in Founder University, an accelerator program led by angel investor Jason Calacanis, known for early-stage investments in Uber and Robinhood. Through mentoring and pod sessions, I refined MVP development and business model design, preparing in earnest for U.S. market expansion.
February ~ March 2026 Sorbonne University Clinical Internship
During a four-week clinical rotation at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Sorbonne University (February–March 2026), I trained in the Addictology Department. I observed and participated in inpatient care for alcohol, opioid, and stimulant dependence; cross-departmental liaison consultations; outpatient assessments applying the Transtheoretical Model of behavioral change. Conducting rounds primarily in French, I developed clinical communication skills across a significant language barrier while gaining exposure to treatment approaches not yet established in Japan, including VR-based cue-exposure therapy and Baclofen pharmacotherapy for alcohol craving.

Learned the fundamentals of cancer immunology and acquired basic experimental techniques including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and cell culture.

Learned the fundamentals of bioinformatics and published a paper. Our research focused on Oikopleura dioica, a planktonic tunicate, whose genome we sequenced using the single-molecule PacBio Hi-Fi method and assembled with NOVOLoci. In particular, we concentrated on the mitochondrial genome, annotating several proteins. This study represents the first complete mitogenome assembly for an appendicularian and reveals that A and T homopolymers cumulatively account for nearly half of its length. This reference sequence will serve as a valuable resource for environmental DNA and phylogenetic studies.

Teaching English at Tetsuryokukai, a prestigious preparatory school for students aiming for the University of Tokyo and national medical schools. Have taught over 1,000 students from grades 8 to 12. Also participated as a founding member of the Computer Science department in response to the addition of informatics to the Common Test in 2024, contributing to textbook creation. From January 2026, appointed as the sole dedicated member of the Information Systems Department among both full-time staff and student instructors, serving as head of internal system development, responsible for automating grading macOS app development, staff portal web application, and internal network setup and operation centered on Radius server construction.
2022 inochi Gakusei Innovators' Program 2022 (Team mentored won the Kanto competition)
Served as a mentor in the inochi Gakusei Innovators' Program, a healthcare innovation program for high school students. Guided the team through the entire process from interviewing, problem setting, solution creation, to prototype implementation on the theme of heart failure pandemic. The team I mentored won the Kanto regional competition and presented at the national forum.
